munch munch.

how come indian-muslim food always looks so nice? Must be the silly spices they put inside. YUMMY. But i get this disgusting oily splat through my tummy everytime i eat their stuff. Not even Iced Green Tea could match its fiery (fine, oily) devilness.

oh well.

prawn cake. yummy. =D

anyway, been getting more irritated at my workplace. Uh huh, still cant even find a decent chair to sit down and rest my every growing arse. Hey. No space to sit? Boot me from you silly area lah. Somemore the task i've been assigned is really stupid. I bet its those thing you may spend time only to end up realising no one ever reads the stuff you type. I'm supposed to come up with a index of some manuals and directives etc. OKay, sounds logical right? But guess what man .... its available on the MINDEF intranet! Like not every single millions of computers all around SAF camps can access the stuff in the repositry right? Stupid. I mean you print out pages and pages and pages of the shit which gets updated every now and then. Not to mention filing circulars with all sorts of wasted printing like the usual formal b/s when it just wants to inform everyone that the telephone no. 1234567 has been changed to 7654321 on pg3 of the directive. So yeah. I can imagine the thousands of dollars (or even millions through these years) spent on wasted paper in the SAF. Its disgustingly rampant. I'm sure it exist in other wasteful government agencies. Is the private sector like that too? Such inefficeincy.

Oh well.

Oh yeah you know why they keep paper copies of the thousand of volumes of GOMs, directives etc in perhaps every single SAF camp? They are afraid of blackouts where they cant access the GOMs in such emergencies. Sounds logical? C'mon man. If there is a blackout in a SAF camp (worst an airbase) no one is gonna be interested in a GOM man. Its gonna be hell breaking loose. Network down? A serious disastor for the entire MINDEF intranet, terminal in our office down? Oh sheesh, cmom there is at least a thousand computers in the base. Base down? Uh hurh. Like there arent 100s of camps in singapore.

Am i too shallow to understand that all these is blatant waste of resources?
