BLACK MAGES DIARYs

for some strange reason now, i am very darn thankful i kept my money where it should have been and didnt buy 'The Black Mages II' (Final Fantasy Soundtrack), just because it was on sale then and i know its not-too-easy to find.

its not that great afterall.

i digress, blogging has somewhat been limited to posting pictures of what a pornographic magazine produced by my own imaginations might look like. (i liken the feeling somewhat to say, like, looking at a PS3) Where have all the good old entries that were supposed to give me a good dose of nostalgia gone too?

so then, i was reminded that about roughly a year ago. there i WAS preparing for jungle survival in Brunei. ah, that's right ... army is all but in past tense now. 2 years + of training to make me into a 'whining spore boy'. I've finally decided that my liberisation is not worth $6.5/hr and i would stick to doing freelancing and minding my own business (that of course is always in the red) .... thats right, there is new found freedom. FREEDOM and ...

more freedom ...

one life. one adventure.

ah, vending machines. gotta love 'em.

kiyomizudera holy water. in authentic japanese style, its double UV sterilised. safe to drink, lah.

black cow bento, yummy. bento! itadakimasu!

lovestones. legend has it that if you successfully walk blindfolded to the other stone (abt 10m away), you are blessed in your love wishes. Fate? Only if u can do it while ripping past 1000000 other tourist. hence. i am still very single.

okay, more post next time.

been ploughing through the milliongazillion photos taken on my trip to japan. deleting junk and fixing underexposure problems, cropping and adding zest with picassa2 until i realised that the program DOES NOT save the alterations outside picassa. in other words, they dont edit the original files. sigh. its really a great program other than this. photoshop though all-so-powerful is somewhat tedious for batch edits.

anyway i digress.

until the year 2017 when the photos and videos have been properly arranged, i shall just post some bits of 'em for ya guys to enjoy.

finally finished the final episode of Gundamn Seed (i know its 3 years old, so what!), and i must say its ranked as one of my favourite animes. Nah, i'm not too crazy about the silly (yes, silly) gundamn's themselves but i really liked the story's central theme around war and a certain disturbing side of humanity. Like all victims of Seed, yes, the last few episodes do-make-you-tear.

For all those who have fought and died ... what where they really fighting for?

I really hate how I can't really do anything to stop all this from happening around the world. There is NO such thing as justified killings. Revenging pain with more hurt will only further lead all of us into a spiral of self destruction. Such a simple logic and yet seemingly impossible to avoid. Sigh.

I sincerely wish for peace for our world.
